Lakshmy Ramakrishnan sends legal notice to Vanitha - Breaking Update!
For the past few days, the entire social media and YouTube has been abuzz about Vanitha Vijayakumar’s controversy surrounding her wedding with Peter Paul. Elizabeth Helen, first wife of Peter Paul, came out and demanded justice for her and her children. She claimed that she is yet to be legally divorced from Peter and questioned about his wedding with Vanitha Vijayakumar. Notable celebrities like Lakshmy Ramakrishnan, Kasthuri Shankar, producer Ravindar Chandrasekaran came in support of Elizabeth and we’ve been seeing it for the past few days.
As we all know, an ugly fight broke out between Lakshmy Ramakrishnan and Vanitha recently and it created a huge discussion and buzz on social media. Following that, Lakshmy Ramakrishnan has now taken the issue forward legally and has sent a legal notice to Vanitha, condemning her behaviour. Lakshmy Ramakrishnan, in her official press statement said, “In the context of the verbal abuse of me over a Skype call, by Vanitha Vijayakumar, which was initiated by Ms Vanitha herself, through a YouTube channel, I have along with my husband adhered to legal proceedings by causing a Legal Demand Notice through our Advocates against her and another, notifying her about the liability under both Civil and Criminal Laws.
Accordingly, we have sent the copy of the notice to concerned Inspector of Police, All Women's Police Station, Vadapalani & SRMC Station, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Vadapalani, Assistant Commissioner of Police and Tamil Nadu State Commission for Women (Mahila Ayog)”. The notice has been sent to Vanitha and she will soon be asked to answer for the issue.
Talking about this issue on Twitter, Lakshmy tweeted, “Thanks you all for the love & moral support, I am humbled. We would have brushed the incident aside but do not want some insane people to think they can hurl abuses at respectable people and get away with it. We have initiated legal proceedings, press note on the way.”
So, it looks like Vanitha has faced one more legal trouble and this has added to the already ongoing controversy involving Peter Paul and Elizabeth Helen. Will Vanitha answer Lakshmy Ramakrishnan’s complaint? More developments regarding the case are awaited. Stay tuned to this space for more updates.
