Dulquer Salmaan tasted success recently with the superhit performance of Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal, which was his 25th film. This Desingh Periyasamy directorial released without much expectations, but turned out to be a fun entertainer and earned the support of the fans. His next release would be in Malayalam and this film is called Kurup, an intense crime thriller, directed by Srinath Rajendran. This film is based on the real life story of Sukumara Kurup, one of the most wanted criminals in Kerala.

Sukumara Kurup is accused in the murder of Chacko, a film representative, and he has absconded ever since the murder in 1984. Even in 2020, Kurup still remains untraceable and the film is going to be based on these spine-chilling incidents. While Dulquer will play the titular role as Sukumara Kurup, Tovino Thomas will be seen in the role of Chacko.

The makers have now released a small sneak peek from the film and this looks absolutely great. This short teaser promo is riveting and stylish and it looks like Dulquer has aced the role with perfection. He looks super stylish with a swag attitude and the makeover looks interesting. The promo teaser has been released today (July 28) to mark the special occasion of Dulquer Salmaan’s birthday. Wishes have been pouring for DQ from leading celebrities from the industry, fans and well-wishers across the world.

The fans have been truly excited after seeing this teaser and it has increased the expectations for the film. The teaser has got a very good reception from the general audience and film buffs as well. The makers are currently focussing on the post-production works. Kurup will have its theatrical release once the theatres reopen after the lockdown.
