Kamal Haasan's Vikram is one of the biggest blockbuster hits in the history of Tamil cinema and it turned out to be a delightful treat for the fans. The film gave an exhilarating experience for the viewers with its high octane action sequences and brilliantly staged episodes. It was also a visual treat for the fans to witness three powerhouse performers - Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil, in the same film, and the experience was amplified with Anirudh Ravichander's International standard of score. The film completed its 100 days of run in the theatres in the second week of September.

It was one of those rarest occasions where a film ran in theatres for 100 days and it is now to celebrate the special feat. Yes! Raaj Kamal Films International made a big announcement this evening (October 27), revealing that the grand 100 days celebration event of Vikram will take place on November 7, marking the birthday of Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan. The celebration event will take place at Kalaivanar Arangam in Chennai. The entire cast and crew, including the assistant technicians would be honoured in this grand event, acknowledging their extensive efforts in making Vikram a timeless blockbuster.

Vikram which ran for more than 100 days at the box office made a whopping collection of close to 450 crores at the box office, thereby becoming one of the highest ever grossers in the history of Tamil cinema. If things go well, a sequel to Vikram might also happen in the future, and let us keep our fingers crossed until then. Kamal Haasan is yet to begin works on his next movie and his next film is expected to be with director Mahesh Narayanan of Malik and Take Off fame. Kamal Haasan will also be working with Pa Ranjith for an action entertainer which will be officially announced next year after the filmmaker finishes working on Thangalaan with Chiyaan Vikram.
