There are many actors in the Tamil film cinema, out of which only a few are credited with being a chameleon of an actor. Chiyaan Vikram is one of the few such actors. He made his debut back in 1990 with the film 'En Kadhal Kanmani'. During his humble beginnings, he did not only stick to acting but also used all the opportunities that came his way in order to try his hand at other projects. As a result, Vikram gave a background voice and a double hero subject within the film industry.

Vikram was catapulted to stardom with the 1999 film Sethu hemled by Bala. The film became a huge hit and breathed life into the actor's career. Following this, he garnered a massive fanbase and a separate market was also created for him. As a result, his subsequent films went on to become smash hits at the box office. Vikram strengthened his empire by not only being a part of masala and commercial films like Dil, Dhool, Gemini and Saamy, but also by acting in films that give importance to the story like Kasi and Pithamagan. 

Today (October 17), Vikram has completed 32 years in the industry. Elated by this very fact, the actor himself took to his official Twitter handle and shared a video made for him. Many people extended their best wishes to him, for which he thanked the fans for. He posted the video along with a caption that read, "All these years. So many dreams. Other than acting, Vikram also sings songs. He is widely loved by all for not only his performances but for also being really cool and laid back in real life. He has earned the reputation of being someone who behaves without any ego towards his fans nor other actors. His most recent outing for Mani Ratnam's magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan for which he was lauded for the portrayal of  Aditha Karikalan. He is not working with Pa Ranjith for his next flick.
