Leading Tamil actor-producer Sivakarthikeyan's success is a life story unlike any in Indian cinema in recent times and the fruits of his hard labor are there for everyone to witness. He has been on cloud nine after the back-to-back blockbuster success of his films Doctor (2021) and Don (2022), which paved the path for him into the illustrious 100-crore club, and has made him a box office powerhouse producers and filmmakers can count on to deliver the profits at the right time. Having started his career in television before gradually moving up the ladder to films and then making his debut as a hero in Marina in 2012, he has come a long way in a decade and is currently one of the most sought-after names in Tamil cinema, with a huge fan following across all age groups. Currently riding the wave, Sivakarthikeyan has several big films lined up ahead starting with Prince coming out this Diwali in theatres worldwide.

Sivakarthikeyan, who is awaiting the release of Prince, is also working on his Maaveeran under Mandela director Madonne Ashwin, after which he is expected to kick off filming on the tentatively titled SK 21 to be directed by Rangoon fame Rajkumar Periasamy, and the project will be bankrolled by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI). SK had also recently confirmed his next venture to be with Maanaadu director Venkat Prabhu, while post-production works are being carried out on his highly-ambitious science-fiction film, Ayalaan, which will be coming out in 2023.

With a jam-packed schedule up ahead, Sivakarthikeyan is on the cusp of an achievement that no other Tamil actor has accomplished to date. Considering Doctor and Don were films that were post-pandemic releases and entered the 100-crore club, all sights are now whether Prince too will reach similar and if not bigger numbers. Sivakarthikeyan has a lot riding in his favor as his popularity is at an all-time peak now and all early signs in the trade point to his upcoming family entertainer hitting the bullseye. Directed by Telugu filmmaker Anudeep KV of Jathi Ratnalu fame, Prince produced by Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP in association with Shanthi Talkies and Suresh Productions banners has the advantage of securing a big start as the film will be released across Tamil Nadu by GN Anbu Chezhian's Gopuram Cinemas.

Regarding the USPs of Prince, Sivakarthikeyan will be seen opposite Ukrainian model-actress Maria Ryaboshapka, with their chemistry witnessed in the film's trailer receiving a double thumbs-up from fans. Apart from the lead pair, the film also has a highly-entertaining ensemble cast featuring the likes of veteran actor Sathyaraj, Premgi Amaren, 'Prankster' Rahul, among others in vital roles, who will no doubt provide plenty of support to carry the film high on entertainment value. Furthermore, Sivakarthikeyan, whose films have had songs appealing to the young and the elderly alike, has collaborated with chart-buster South Indian composer Thaman. S and his 'Bimbilikki Pilapi' and 'Jessica' songs have taken the buzz for Prince to a higher plane.

As for the unique aspects of Prince, the film is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual and gives more assurance that it will smash through the 100-crore mark at the box office, while possibly ending up to be his highest-grosser. Having charmed audiences in Tamil cinema, it has been an inevitable event in the making for Sivakarthikeyan to grace Telugu screens and we can be certain the actor will be looking to charm into everyone's hearts in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana as well. With the success of Doctor and Don (both films dubbed in Telugu performing well) favoring him exceptionally now, it is only a matter of time before Sivakarthikeyan could become the first actor in Tamil cinema after the pandemic to achieve the distinction of having three back-to-back 100-crore films in his kitty with Prince opening in cinemas worldwide on October 21.
