Two-time National Award-winning actor Dhanush's Naane Varuvean is out in theatres and continues to generate a lot of talk among fans on social media. The horror thriller film directed by Selvaraghavan under blockbuster producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu's V Creations banner includes music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, who has once again proven to be a big pillar of strength with his tunes and background score. With Naane Varuvean satisfying a majority of the fans of the Dhanush, Selvaraghavan, and Yuvan trio, the makers on Tuesday, October 11, released the much-awaited 'Rendu Raaja' video song on YouTube owing to the huge response the track has received since its audio came out first last month.
'Rendu Raaja' has lyrics penned by Dhanush, who has also sung the track with Yuvan Shankar Raja, and is a high-energy number that has done well with listeners and audiences. Naane Varuvean has Dhanush playing dual roles as the docile Prabhu and the psychotic Kathir, with the song set on the latter character. The staging of the 'Rendu Raaja' song is in the second half of Naane Varuvean and shows Dhanush holding his family hostage among whom include Elli AvrRam playing the role of his wife Madhuri, while Prabhav and Pranav are their twin sons in the story. The song has Dhanush belting out a few eccentric moves and in a dynamic manner, with his dance yet again garnering immense praise from fans apart from his power-packed acting performance.
