Pathu Thala is hot in the buzz among STR's fans who are looking forward to witness the flamboyant star as a don in the film, which also stars Gautham Karthik as an undercover cop, while Priya Bhavani Shankar is cast in the role of a Tehsildar, and filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon is playing the antagonist. The film's teaser released last week has taken social media by storm as fans finally got a big glimpse of the massive action and drama that awaits them on the big screen in three weeks' time. Although the Pathu Thala teaser didn't show Simbu to a great extent, there were plenty of action-packed and intriguing visuals from start to end and it remains to be seen whether a trailer will be coming out next in the days ahead.
Pathu Thala is also the fifth collaboration for Silambarasan with Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman after their previous ventures Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada, Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, and more recently Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu Part I: The Kindling, and the film's album is now keenly being awaited by fans. Likewise, STR will also be looking to make it a hat-trick at the box office with the upcoming film after his Maanaadu (2021) and Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu (2022) turned out to be phenomenal successes.
