'Thalapathy' Vijay's LEO is being filmed in Kashmir and includes a power-packed star cast alongside the Tamil cinema superstar among whom is also acclaimed filmmaker-actor Mysskin in a key role. The upcoming film is being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, who has now penned a heartfelt statement conveying his gratitude, while also sharing a picture of himself with Mysskin from the sets of their upcoming film. Posting a photo on Twitter taken during their conversation at the shooting spot, Lokesh Kanagaraj wrote, "My Dear @DirectorMysskin sir, A million thanks won’t suffice to express how grateful and fortunate I feel to have had the opportunity to work with you in such close capacity. We had an absolute blast having you on sets Sir.I can never thank you enough but a million thanks ! #Leo".
Being produced under Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studio banner, LEO will see Vijay locking horns with Mysskin and several others in the film. The filmmaker, who is known for his directorials like Chithiram Pesuthadi, Anjathe, Nandalala, Yuddham Sei, Onaayum Aattukkuttiyum, Pisaasu, Thupparivaalan, and Psycho, including his appearances in Savarakkaththi and Super Deluxe, penned an earnest statement thanking the LEO earlier this week after he completing shooting his portions in the Vijay-starrer. Mysskin is set to be seen as a baddie in Vijay's LEO, which also has Trisha Krishnan as the female lead, followed by Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt, 'Action King' Arjun, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand, choreographer Sandy master, young Malayalam actor Mathew Thomas among others, with music being composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Touted to be a mass action thriller, the film is set to open in cinemas worldwide on October 19 as a grand Ayudha pooja holiday treat and features music being composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
