GK Vishnu who made an exceptional debut as a cinematographer in Thalapathy Vijay starrer Mersal, scored another sixer with his second film Bigil. The highly talented Bigil and Mersal cinematographer celebrates his birthday today on the 7th of July. Atlee had earlier made a heartwarming wish for the GK Vishnu and now it is Vijay and Atlee’s close associate Jagdish Palanisamy’s turn who calls GK Vishnu as his brother from another mother. His tweet reads as follows - “A happy soul, a brother from another mother and a person who ensures to keep his surroundings happy. Wishing u a very happy bday Vichuuuuu @dop_gkvishnu. keep rocking.. lot more to come.” Jagdish has also shared an unseen photo which features GK Vishnu, Thalapathy Vijay, Atlee and himself. It looks like a photo taken during a vacation that they went on. GK Vishnu shares a special bonding with Atlee and Jagdish and even Vijay. GK Vishnu even said once that - “Working with Atlee and Thalapathy was like playing in home ground.”

Atlee during the audio launch of Bigil had stated that GK Vishnu will be part of his next film as well. But before working on Atlee’s next film, GK Vishnu will complete a Telugu film titled Krack starring Ravi Teja in the lead. This film is being directed by Gopichand Malineni who had previously made commercial potboilers like Don Seenu and Balupu. Shruti Haasan and Varalakshmi Sarathkumar play the female leads while SS Thaman has been roped in to score the tunes. Krack was earlier speculated to be the remake of Thalapathy Vijay’s Theri but Gopichand had denied this news as completely false. Apparently, Krack is a cop story inspired by real-life incidents that took place in Andhra Pradesh. GK Vishnu will finish this project once the lockdown is over before moving to Atlee’s 5th film which is likely to be a Bollywood venture featuring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role.
