A film that left audiences surprised across the nation and wanting for more was the Yash starrer K. G. F: Chapter 1, which stormed its way into record viewership on OTT and television. Released in Kannada and subsequently dubbed in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi as well, the 2018 film enjoys a massive cult following, with the sequel titled K. G. F: Chapter 2 currently on the verge of completion. Yash will be seen reprising his role as Raja Krishnappa Bairya aka. Rocky, with veteran Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt cast as the antagonist Adheera, whose character was only teased in the first KGF film. Being directed by Prashant Neel under Vijay Kiragandur’s Hombale Films banner, the film's Creative Producer Karthik Gowda has now shared a picture of the shirt he had worn when he got hugged by both Yash and Sanjay Dutt during shooting.

Taking to his Twitter page, Karthik Gowda revealed that the photo was from the climax shooting of KGF: Chapter 2 and has a lot of black coal marks along with what appears to be fake blood stains. Karthik Gowda has been interacting with fans and updating them on a consistent basis, while going on to reveal a few days back that the much-awaited KGF 2 teaser will be out on January 8 on the occasion of Yash's birthday. He went on to announce that the KGF: Chapter 2 teaser "will be on a different level". There is tremendous hype surrounding the film's teaser as no visuals have been shown to date and fans are awaiting yet another massive treat considering the makers have on a number of occasions teased a massive showdown between Yash's Rocky Bhai and Sanjay Dutt's Adheera.

KGF: Chapter 2 will also see the return of Srinidhi Shetty as the female lead, with Malavika Avinash, Anant Nag, Archana Jois, Vasishta N Simha, Avinash BS, Achyuth Kumar, Balakrishna set to reprise their roles once again, while Prakash Raj, Raveena Tandon, Saran Shakthi are some of the new additions to the cast. It is to be noted that Yash had earlier this year revealed that KGF 2 would feature more action than the first film, with the fights between his and Sanjay Dutt's characters to be bloodier, more gory and longer than what was witnessed in the first KGF film.
