Silambarasan TR is celebrating his birthday today (February 3) and wishes have been pouring in from all quarters. The fans are celebrating his birthday with specially designed posters, tribute videos, common DPs and lot more and to make the day further special, the makers of Maha have released a new promo video from the film. In this promo video, we see a glimpse of Simbu’s dubbing for the film and the makers have also shared an additional update, revealing that STR has completed dubbing for his portions in the movie. The promo video has garnered a good reception from the fans who are excited to see the film already. In this video, we see Simbu talking about friendship and we are sure that it is going to make the fans go crazy in the theatres.

Talking about Maha, it features Hansika Motwani in the lead role and notably, this is her 50th film in cinema. Being her landmark film, people are looking forward to it. Maha will feature Silambarasan TR in an extended cameo and he will be seen as Hansika’s love interest in the film. The romantic sequences between Simbu and Hansika are said to be one of the major highlights of Maha. The film is directed by debutant UR Jameel who was a former associate to director Lakshman of Romeo Juliet, Bogan, and Bhoomi fame.

The film has music scored by Ghibran who is known for his unique and impressive tunes. Produced by Mathiyalagan under the banner of Etcetra Entertainment, Maha cinematography by J Laxman, editing by JR John Abraham and art direction by Manimozhian Ramadurai. The film's star cast also includes the likes of Srikanth, Bigg Boss fame Sanam Shetty, Thambi Ramaiah, Karunakaran, Nancy Jennifer, and others. Meanwhile, the fans of Simbu are also highly charged with the release of Maanaadu’s teaser which has opened to positive reviews from the film buffs.
