Famous Hollywood producer Steve Bing commits suicide by jumping after allegedly being depressed during COVID-19 quarantine. It is reported that Steve jumped from his apartment in the Century City neighbourhood of Los Angeles and was pronounced dead at the scene at 1.10 pm yesterday on the 22nd of June. It is said Steve had been depressed" about being isolated and the lack of human contact during the coronavirus lockdown, but it's currently unclear if this had anything to do with his apparent suicide. He was an American businessman, philanthropist, film producer, and donor to progressive causes. He was the founder of Shangri-La Entertainment, an organization with interests in property, construction, entertainment, and music.

At the age of 18, Bing inherited an estimated $600 million from his grandfather, Leo S. Bing, a real estate developer who had made his fortune in New York in the 1920s. So, he had everything yet decided to end his life. His death proves that money cannot buy happiness and we need to give enough importance to our mental health. In addition to his producing and film finance work, he also co-wrote both the screenplay and the story of Kangaroo Jack. It must be noted that Steve Bing was renowned actress Liz Hurley’s ex-partner. We express Steve Bing’s family our deepest condolences.
