Udhayanidhi Stalin will next be presenting the much-awaited Vishnu Vishal-starrer Gatta Kusthi under his Red Giant Movies banner across Tamil Nadu ahead of its theatrical release on December 2. The actor/producer-politician's production house dropped the big announcement on Friday, November 18, and comes hot on the heels after the blockbuster box office success of Pradeep Ranganathan's Love Today. Gatta Kusthi is the second Vishnu Vishal film to be released under Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies banner after FIR, which came out earlier this year. Check out the announcement below:

Vishnu Vishal's Gatta Kusthi will no doubt be benefited big time with Udhayanidhi Stalin coming on board to release the film across Tamil Nadu considering the Red Giant Movies banner has been a big player in being a part of several ventures that have tasted massive box office success in 2022. Udhayanidhi is the man with the Midas touch this yearand he will be looking to hit the bullseye with Gatta Kusthi after distributing films like Suriya's Etharkkum Thunindhavan, 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Beast, Sivakarthikeyan's Don, Dhanush's Thiruchitrambalam, Silambarasan TR's Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, Karthi's Sardar, including the recently-released Love Today to name a notable few. 

Gatta Kusthi marks Vishnu Vishal's reunion with director Chella Ayyavu after their Silukkuvarpatti Singam in 2018 and the film will see the actor paired opposite youth sensation Aishwarya Lekshmi, who is fresh off from her performance as Poonguzhali in Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan. The film is set amidst the rural backdrop and is expected to be a mass commercial entertainer appealing to mainstream audiences. Produced under the Vishnu Vishal Studioz banner in association with leading Telugu star hero Ravi Teja's RT Team Works, Gatta Kusthi also stars features Munishkanth, Kaali Venkat, Sreeja Ravi, Nikhila Vimal, among others, with music composed by Justin Prabhakaran, followed by Richard M Nathan and Prasanna GK taking care of the cinematography and editing, respectively.
