Udhayanidhi Stalin's next big film is the highly-anticipated Kalaga Thalaivan, which has been officially announced for a worldwide theatrical release on November 18. Billed to be an intense and action-packed social drama, the upcoming film is the actor/producer-politician’s next after Nenjuku Needhi, which was released earlier this year, and earned him good appreciation from fans and critics. With reports over the past few days doing the rounds that Kalaga Thalaivan is coming out in theatres this month, the news has now been officially confirmed by reputed distribution and production banner Ayngaran International as they have bagged the film's entire overseas theatrical rights. Check out Ayngaran International's tweet below:

Directed by Magizh Thirumeni of Thadam fame and produced under Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies banner, Kalaga Thalaivan has youth sensation Nidhhi Agerwal playing the female lead, while Bigg Boss Tamil season 1 winner Arav and Madras star Kalaiyarasan will also be making appearances in pivotal roles. A dark and gritty teaser was released in October, which gave audiences a glimpse into what's in store for them when the film hits the big screens in the next few days. The much-awaited Kalaga Thalaivan trailer too has been announced to be releasing on Thursday, November 10, and we can expect the team to come out all guns blazing with their visuals in getting fans hooked in anticipation ahead of the film's release.

Udhayanidhi Stalin will be looking to hit it out of the park with Kalaga Thalaivan before his Maamannan with director Mari Selvaraj, which is expected to arrive in cinemas in early 2023. Magizh Thirumeni, who is known for directing quality action films like Thadaiyara Thaaka, Meaghamann, and Thadam, too will want to hit the bullseye with his latest venture, which has music by Arrol Corelli and Srikanth Deva, while the cinematography and editing have been taken care of by Dillraj and Srikanth NB, respectively.
