Udhayanidhi Stalin's Kalaga Thalaivan is an intense and action-packed social drama and will open in theatres worldwide on November 1. The upcoming film is the actor/producer-politician’s next big venture after Nenjuku Needhi released earlier this year and has been directed by Magizh Thirumeni of Thadam fame. With only a few days away from the theatrical release, the highly-anticipated official trailer for Kalaga Thalaivan has been released on Thursday, November 10, and gives us a big glimpse at the action in store for audiences in cinemas.

The Kalaga Thalaivan trailer starts off with a young woman being put through physical pain and progresses to show several other women in the limelight. The visuals then progress to introducing Udhayanidhi Stalin, who looks to be on a mission, before the film's antagonist, Arav, the winner of Bigg Boss Tamil season 1 enters the spotlight and looks menacing with his actions. Udhayanidhi Stalin is paired with Nidhhi Agerwal, who looks to have an important role in line with the proceedings of the story, with the trailer also giving us a glimpse of Madras fame Kalaiyarasan in a pivotal role. The Kalaga Thalaivan trailer is loaded with several high-octane action moments and the film is expected to be a step forward for Udhayanidhi Stalin in the genre.

Produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies banner, Kalaga Thalaivan has massive expectations surrounding it as fans expect the actor-producer to come up with yet another commendable performance along the lines of his Manithan, Psycho, and Nenjuku Needhi. He will also be looking to hit it out of the park with the film before his Maamannan with director Mari Selvaraj, which is expected to come out in early 2023. Likewise, Magizh Thirumeni, who has garnered a fan following for his films like Thadaiyara Thaakka, Meaghamann, and Thadam, will be hoping to come out on top with Kalaga Thalaivan, which also has music by Arrol Corelli and Srikanth Deva, while the cinematography and editing have been taken care of by Dillraj and Srikanth NB, respectively.
