Leading South Indian actress Samantha's highly-anticipated Yashoda is gearing up for a big release in theatres worldwide from November 11 and promotions for the science-fiction action-thriller film are in full swing. Directed by the Hari Shankar and Hareesh Narayan duo of Ambuli fame under Telugu producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad's Sridevi Movies banner, the upcoming film has now been certified 'U/A' by the Censor Board ahead of its release in a week’s time. Yashoda is billed to be a promising film in Samantha's career and is a pan-Indian venture coming out in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam languages. Check out the announcement below:

The buzz for Yashoda shot up, especially after an action-packed trailer was released a few days back to a rousing response, and showed the actress playing the role of a surrogate mother, who goes up against those involved in medical crimes. The actress is currently undergoing recovery after she revealed on Saturday, October 29, that she has been diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis. Samantha has since been getting a lot of support from leading names in the entertainment industry across the country, with fans also pouring their love for the star with speedy recovery wishes on social media. 

Yashoda ill see Samantha sharing screen space with Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Unni Mukundan, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Shatru, Madhurima, Kalpika Ganesh, Divya Sripada, Priyanka Sharma and others, with the music composed by chart-buster composer Mani Sharma, followed by M. Sukumar and Marthand. K. Venkatesh handling the cinematography and editing, respectively. Apart from Yashoda, Samantha will also be seen in films like the mythological drama film Shaakuntalam and the rom-com Kushi opposite Vijay Deverakonda in Telugu, while also making her big Hollywood debut in The Arrangements Of Love under Downton Abbey filmmaker Philip John's direction.
