The wait is all set to come to an end for 'Thalapathy' Vijay's fans everywhere as the first single from his new film, Varisu, titled 'Ranjithame' has been announced to be releasing on Saturday, November 5. The much-awaited announcement has come in the form of a special promo and has been released by the upcoming film's production banner, Sri Venkateswara Creations, with the song set to be unveiled under the T-Series audio label. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally of Thozha and Maharshi fame and produced by Dil Raju, Varisu has music by Thaman. S, who has boarded a Vijay venture for the first time and there are massive expectations for the composer to deliver a chart-buster album. 

'Ranjithame' in Varisu has been sung by Vijay and singer M M Manasi to the lyrics penned by Vivek and the song is a peppy number based on the promo alone. The song is the superstar's next after he sang the chart-buster 'Arabic Kuthu' from his Beast released earlier this year. The 5-second promo for 'Ranjithame' from Varisu alone will no doubt create a lot of excitement ahead of the full track's release later this weekend and we can expect Vijay's fans to go on a repeat mode with this new glimpse to watch him set the dance floor on fire. 

Varisu s one of the most-awaited films for Vijay fans in recent years as it sees the superstar appearing in a wholesome family entertainer along the lines of Poove Unakkaga and Thulladha Manamum Thullum. The film has the superstar paired with national sensation Rashmika Mandanna and their chemistry is expected to be electric on the big screen considering the popular actress has a huge fan following across the country. Varisu also includes a big ensemble supporting cast among whom are Prabhu, Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Yogi Babu, Jayasudha, Sangeetha Krish, Shaam, Srikanth, Samyuktha Shanmughanathan, popular art director D. R. K. Kiran, with SJ Suryah also speculated to be making a special appearance.
