Samantha seems to be in no mood for rest! The star actress had just wrapped up the shoot and dubbing of Kaathuvakula Rendu Kaadhal a few days back and now, she's done with her responsibilities for one of her other films, Shakuntalam. Samantha has completed dubbing for her portions in Shakuntalam and she shared this update through an Instagram story. Clicking a picture from the dubbing suite, Samantha posted, "And it's a wrap ❤️ Shakuntalam". Shakuntalam is directed by Gunasekhar who is known for helming movies like Laati, Sogasu Chooda Tharamaa, Ramayanam, Okkadu, and Rudhramadevi.

Produced by Gunaa Teamworks and presented by Dil Raju Productions, this mythological drama has cinematography handled by Sekhar V Joseph, while Prawin Pudi has edited the movie. Apart from Samantha, the film features an ensemble star cast that includes the likes of Aditi Balan, Dev Mohan, Ananya Nagalla, Prakash Raj, Mohan Babu, Gautami, Kabir Bedi, Madhoo, Kabir Duhan Singh, and others. Allu Arjun's daughter Allu Arha will be making her acting debut with this film and the fans are eagerly looking forward to witnessing it. Details regarding the release plans of Shakuntalam are yet to be known.

Meanwhile, Samantha is gearing up for the grand theatrical release of Kaathuvakula Rendu Kaadhal which is slated to hit the screens on April 28, in the next ten days. The film features Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara as the other leads and will have Samantha playing the character of Khatija. Keeping aside KRK and Shakuntalam, Samantha is also working on Yashoda, which is scheduled to release on August 12. Yashoda, directed by Hari - Harish, is said to be an intriguing action thriller. Samantha has also signed an International film titled The Arrangments of Love which is expected to go on floors soon. The English film is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Philip John of Downton Abbey fame.
