Karthi's Sardar will be releasing in theatres this Friday, October 21, and we are just four days from witnessing the film on the big screen. The film holds good level of expectations among the fans and is expected to take a very good opening at the box office. Sardar will clash with Sivakarthikeyan's Prince at the box office and an exciting theatrical clash is on the cards. With the film's release around the corner, details regarding the film's censor and final runtime have been revealed and here is what you need to know. Sardar has completed its censor formalities and has been certified with a U/A certificate.

The U/A certification is obviously for the action segments in the film. The final runtime of the film has been locked at 166 minutes (2 hours 46 minutes) which is actually a little longer than the average duration of a film. However, it looks like the team is quite confident with their final product that they have gone ahead without cutting short the film. Helmed by PS Mithran of Hero and Irumbu Thirai fame, this film will have music composed by GV Prakash Kumar, while the cinematography and editing departments are taken care of by George C Williams and Ruben respectively. The final stages of post production works are happening in full swing and the film is right on track for its release on October 21.

Sardar is an intriguing action drama which features Raashi Khanna and Rajisha Vijayan as the female leads, with Laila, Chunky Panday, and others forming the supporting cast.
