Kamal Haasan's Vikram is currently the talk of the town for all the obvious reasons. The film which released in theatres on June 3, Friday, has opened to an overwhelming response from the worldwide audience and it looks like there is no stopping the movie's rage at the box office. With the film doing exceptionally well, Kamal Haasan has now shared his heartfelt thanks message through a video which has grabbed the attention of the fans.

Talking in a video, he said, "Tamil audiences have never failed to appreciate and recognise quality films and deserving talents. Vikram has now joined that list and I'm happy about it. My heartfelt thanks to music director Anirudh, cinematographer Girish, editor Philomin Raj, stunt directors Anbariv, art director Satheesh Kumar, and many other unnoticed people who have worked tirelessly behind the camera. All of them need your wishes and support. The powerful set of actors, my brothers - Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Narain, and Chemban Vinod Jose, also have an equal part in the success of the film.

Suriya, who just appeared for the last 3 minutes has set the theatres on fire and he did this merely because of his love for us. I will do my thanking gestures for Suriya in our next film where we will join forces. Lokesh Kanagaraj loves and respects me and my cinema and it was evident throughout every single day of the shoot. The love from the fans and people have also been the same and I wish it continues for our future endeavours as well. Ungal Naan". Vikram follows the story of an ex-militant fighting against a drug mafia gang to create a drug-free society and Kamal Haasan topped the game with a terrific performance.

Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil play the other leads in this Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial that has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Kamal Haasan, up next, will be joining hands with director Mahesh Narayanan of Malik and Take Off fame for a new film.
