Leading Tamil actor-producer Suriya made a brief yet thunderous appearance in 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan's Vikram as the character Rolex and has set fans buzzing with excitement on social media. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced under the Raaj Kamal Films International banner, the team cast the Jai Bhim star in the action thriller towards the final stages of filming, with fans getting a sweet surprise in the concluding moments of the film. Suriya, who appears as a drug syndicate boss, took to social media on Saturday to extend his gratitude to Kamal Haasan and director Lokesh Kanagaraj for allowing him to be a part of Vikram, while also expressing his joy at the feedback from fans for his role in the film. He tweeted, "Dearest @ikamalhaasan  Anna எப்படி சொல்றது…!?  This is a dream come true to be on screen with you..! Thank you for making this happen!  @Dir_Lokesh  Overwhelmed to see all the love!! #Rolex #Vikram". See Suriya's tweet about Vikram below:

Suriya's role was kept under wraps until the last moment and fans were in speculation mode regarding his part in Vikram prior to the release of the film. The revelation of the Soorarai Pottru actor in the film after its release left fans everywhere excited, who were also taken aback by his character in the story. Despite appearing on the screen for a limited time, Suriya has left audiences wanting more, and the actor has once again delivered on the acting front. All sights will now be set on Vikram 3, which is yet to be announced and fans now await the elusive official word from the makers.

Vikram marked the comeback of Kamal Haasan on the big screen after a four-year gap when he was last seen in Vishwaroopam II in 2018 and the iconic superstar has once again come out all guns blazing with ease. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj too is being showered with appreciation from critics and audiences alike for packaging a tight screenplay keeping audiences on the edge of their seats till the end of the film. Likewise, composer Anirudh Ravichander, who has been in terrific form this year, made fans cheer for his thumping background score in cinemas apart from the songs in Vikram.
