'Pondicherry' Rajendran is the second Suriya fan in less than a week to pass away after Jagadeesh, Namakkal District Secretary of Suriya Fans Club, lost his life in a tragic bike accident. The actor had paid his final respects and homage to Jagadeesh in Namakkal and expressed his heartfelt condolences to his family, while also assuring them of his support in all ways possible. Photos of Suriya's visit at Jagadeesh's home garnered huge attention on social media with many fans joining the actor in his mourning.
On the work front, Suriya, who appeared in a brief yet power-packed cameo as Rolex in the Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil-starrer Vikram directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, will be resuming the next leg of filming for his upcoming film, the tentatively titled Suriya 41, in Goa next month with National Award-winning filmmaker Bala. After completing Bala's film, the acclaimed actor will begin work on the highly-anticipated Vaadivaasal with filmmaker Vetri Maaran being produced under Kalaipuli S. Thanu's V Creations banner. Suriya had also announced that he will also be teaming up with director Sudha Kongara once again after their Soorarai Pottru, including a collaboration with Siva of Viswasam and Annaatthe fame.
