We're only three days away from the grand release of the highly-anticipated rom-com Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal starring 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead roles. Set to open in theatres worldwide on April 28, the upcoming film directed by Vignesh Shivan features music by 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander, with the early buzz in the trade and on social media largely positive. As fans continue to count down the minutes for the release of Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has censored the film with a 'U/A' certificate, with the run time revealed to be at two hours and thirty-nine minutes.

Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal's final runtime is neither too long nor too short and suggests the film has been packaged on the lines of any commercial entertainer. The film has plenty of hype surrounding it owing to the star cast of Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and Samantha, and the trio’s dynamic will be the biggest USP to bring audiences to cinema halls. Furthermore, the promotional material for KRK has been on point till now and Vignesh Shivan, who is known for making his films cater to both the youth and family audiences, is expected to deliver yet another solid entertainer for big-screen viewing.

Jointly produced by Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studio in association with director Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara's Rowdy Pictures banner, Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal is carrying a lot of excitement surrounding it right from the beginning, with Anirudh's music turning out to be a major highlight considering the film's album featuring songs like 'Rendu Kaadhal', 'Two Two Two', 'Naan Pizhai' and the recently released 'Dippam Dappam' songs have turned out to be chartbusters. KRK is incidentally the second film for Vignesh Shivan with Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara after their Naanum Rowdydhaan in 2015, which went on to become a box office blockbuster.
