Pa Ranjith's Natchathiram Nagargiradhu is set for its theatrical release on August 31 and the film buffs are eagerly looking forward to watching the film in the theatres. The film has been censored with an A certificate and has been locked with a runtime of 2 hours and 50 minutes. Natchathiram Nagargiradhu features Kalidas Jayaram, Dushara Vijayan, and Kalaiyarasan in the lead roles and it will be a romantic drama that will also delve deep into the politics that lies behind love and romance. The film is expected to address several themes that are considered to be taboo in mainstream society, in a bold manner.

Meanwhile, Pa Ranjith and team organised a special screening of Natchathiram Nagargiradhu in Mumbai last night (Aug 28) for acclaimed filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and a few other select guests. Anurag Kashyap has been mighty impressed with the film and the pictures of him appreciating Ranjith for the film have been doing rounds on social media since this morning.

The Gangs of Wasseypur filmmaker hugged Ranjith after watching the film and spoke highly of him, appreciating him for addressing a very important topic in an impactful manner. Nandita Das, and a few other prominent personalities were also a part of the screening. The pictures have been officially released by the makers and it has garnered good attention among the fans. In another two days, we will be getting to see the film and let us hope that the film strikes a chord with the viewers.
