Anirudh Ravichander is one of the leading composers in South Indian cinema and is probably one of the most successful in the recent times. 5 films of his have been released this year and all five have emerged successful at the box office. The songs have also become massive hits across the globe. That being said, we found an interesting pattern in Anirudh's recent set of films. He has always had a special surprise song for the fans that everyone gets to hear directly in the film. While the main songs are released as singles before the film's release, these bonus tracks serve as a delightful treat for the film buffs and interestingly, those songs also emerge as instant hits.

The recent best example would be the 'Mayakkama Kalakkama' song from Dhanush's Thiruchitrambalam, which has become a rage on social media. Anywhere you turn around, there are several posts and videos of 'Mayakkama Kalakkama' song on social media and this pattern from Anirudh has been noteworthy. All the five releases of Anirudh, this year - Beast, Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, Don, Vikram, and Thiruchitrambalam, have had bonus tracks and interestingly, there have been similar scenarios in some of his previous films as well, like Master, Velaikkaran, and Remo. The bonus tracks of Anirudh that directly got featured in the film and later released as a track on streaming platforms include:
Remo - Veshangalil Poiyillai
Velaikkaran - Thatrom Merattrom
Master - Master The Blaster
Beast - Big Bad Beast, Cool As A Cucumba
Vikram - Porkanda Singam EDM Version
This is indeed an interesting pattern in Anirudh's films and one can expect him to continue the success mantra in his upcoming ventures like Indian 2, Jailer, Thalapathy 67, AK 62, and more. Busy days ahead for the star composer.
