A film that set the entire nation talking right from the moment it was announced, Baahubali director's next film, RRR, starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles resumed shooting on Monday after a period of seven months. Reports state the team will be carrying forward production without any break for the next two months in line with the COVID-19 safety protocols. As of now, portions not featuring the two leads are being shot, with Jr NTR and Ram Charan expected to join the team a little later. The news of the RRR team resuming filming has taken social media by storm, with fans ecstatic in sharing their excitement to catch a glimpse of their favorite actors soon. 

Taking to social media, the RRR team also made an announcement earlier today that is as follows: "Enough of our festival posts and your unparalleled creativity in taunting us for updates. Thanks for bombarding us with all your love. Time flew by, and finally the moment is here! Now, it’s our turn to entertain you... Stay tuned for tomorrow... #WeRRRBack #RRRMovie". This latest statement from the RRR team has created massive expectations among fans, who will be waiting with bated breath on the new surprise that awaits them in store on Tuesday. 

Apart from Jr NTR and Ram Charan, RRR features Alia Bhatt as the female lead. The star cast also includes Ajay Devgn in an extended cameo, with Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Rahul Ramakrishna, Alison Doody, Olivia Morris and others in major supporting roles. Being made at an estimated budget of Rs. 350-400 crores by DVV Entertainment, RRR featuring music by M. M. Keeravani is a fictitious story based on legendary freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharamaraju and Komaram, with the makers a while back releasing a motion poster, including a special teaser introducing Ram Charan's character in the film. A period war action drama, the film's story is set during the pre-Independence era in the 1920s with plans for the film to be released in as many as 10 languages including Tamil and Hindi.
