Jana Gana Mana is an adrenaline pumping action drama mass entertainer written and directed by Puri Jagannadh. It is bankrolled by Charmee Kaur, Vamshi Paidipally, and Puri Jagannadh. The action packed entertainer will be a pan-Indian film and will release in various languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. This Vijay Deverakonda film is all set for theatrical release next year on 3 August 2023. It has also been confirmed that Pooja Hedge has joined the project as the female lead. According to certain sources, the actress will begin filming for the project in Mumbai from the first week of June. 

The project was launched in a grand manner earlier this March, in which the actor descends from a helicopter in a army officer uniform. Now, a formal pooja has been done in order to begin filming of this mass project. The shoot will reportedly begin and the first schedule will be shot entirely in Mumbai.

This fictional film is said to have action sequences like seen in Uri: The Surgical Strike and similar war movies. The film is made on a whopping big budget as the large scale film is said to feature many war sequences. Vijay Deverakonda will be seen in the role of an Army officer and is super proud to be able to do this film.

Other than this, Vijay Deverakonda will be making his big Bollywood debut later this year with the release of Liger with Ananya Panday playing the female lead and boxing legend Mike Tyson as the antagonist. Liger will feature Deverakonda taking on the role of a boxer and the movie will is scheduled to release on 25 August 2022. He has also got Shiva Nirvana's romantic Telugu film Kushi in which he will be acting opposite Samantha.
