Director Nag Ashwin of Mahanati fame is all set to direct his next film which is tentatively titled Project K. Headlined by Baahubali Hunk Prabhas, this upcoming mega-budget movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan. The sci-fi action thriller will be released and made available to watch in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages making it yet another pan-Indian film for Prabhas. The apparent "spectacular visuals" of the movie will definitely make it one to watch out for in 2023 if the rumors are true.
It has been confirmed that the film is being shot with Arri Alexa technology, making it the first Indian film to use this cutting-edge and highly innovative piece of tech.
Arri Alexa Technology is a digital motion picture camera system that is used in the cinematography of science fiction thrillers. The goal is to enhance the visual experience, while the technology will not interfere with the emotions in the drama.
With that, the film is expected to easily be one of the most expensive projects in Indian cinema. The shooting of the film started in Hyderabad in December last year.
The third phase of filming is currently underway at Ramoji Rao Film City. Scenes involving Deepika Padukone are filmed in it. The film has not given us a release date for the film just as yet, and neither has any detail regarding the movie has been revealed.
Other than that, Prabhas will be seen acting in director Maruthi Dasari's next film Raja Deluxe. He is also set to star in KGF fame director Prashanth Neel's Salaar in which he will be seen acting alongside Shruthi Haasan and Prithviraj Sukumaran. He will also be acting opposite Kriti Sanon in Om Raut's Adipurush which is scheduled to hit the screens on August 11. It looks like Prabhas is going strong with the rise of pan-Indian films as Salaar, Adipurush and 'Project K' are all multilingual films.
