RC15 is the working title of an upcoming Telugu drama film directed by S. Shankar, marking his Telugu debut. from a story written by Karthik Subbaraj. It is produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations. The film stars Ram Charan in dual roles, whose character will be among the main highlights of the film. One of his characters is rumored to be an IAS Officer. The film stars Bollywood actress Kiara Advani playing the female lead opposite him. RC15 also features Anjali, Jayaram, Sunil, Srikanth, and Naveen Chandra playing supporting roles.
Music composer and playback singer S. Thaman of Radhe Shyam fame has been roped in to score the music for the film that is currently being expected to release next year on April 2023. Speaking of S. Thaman, it seems as if the music composer is all done with composing music for the film. He recently took to his Instagram handle and shared an image with director Shankar in a well-lit studio. The technical crew of this pan-Indian project includes Thiru who has been handling cinematography, while Shameer Muhammed has been made in charge of the film's editing process. RC15 is being made with a whopping Rs 170 crores budget. The political action thriller is touted to revolve around electoral reforms.
Ram Charan is currently riding high on the success of his latest outing RRR, helmed by SS Rajamouli. On the work front, he has multiple projects in the pipeline which also includes Godfather starring his own father, Chiranjeevi, in the leading role.
