A film that has been the talk of the town ever since it was announced early last year, 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Beast, which is the actor’s 65th film in his glorious career, is gearing up for a grand release this April. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the upcoming film billed to be a mass action thriller marks the filmmaker's first time association with the superstar and is being produced under the prestigious Sun Pictures banner, which is bankrolling the actor's venture for the second time after the 2018 blockbuster Sarkar. Likewise, Beast is also 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander's third-time collaboration with Vijay after he delivered chart-buster songs and iconic background scores in films like Kaththi and Master. 

With Sun Pictures announcing on Monday morning that a new Beast update is on the way later in the day at 6 p.m., the statement has come as great news for Vijay fans everywhere to kick-start the new week in a grand manner. And, in that light, fans have begun wondering what that elusive update from Beast could be. Looking at the track of how things have been over the past few years and how updates are regularly released by reputed production banners, including little treats and trinkets from Vijay's films as well, we have our eye on a few possible choices for the Beast update that might be revealed later today evening. 

'Thalapathy' Vijay's fans have been waiting for quite some time for the next big update from Beast, especially since the last one was the release plan confirmation back in December when the actor and Sun Pictures announced that the film will open in theatres in April this year. Taking into consideration that same plan, there is a likelihood that the first update could be about the Beast release date announcement. We know for sure that the film is set for an April release and the date now officially needs to be confirmed by Sun Pictures. The second probability for an update would be the announcement of the Beast motion poster, which would no doubt be a big bonanza treat for Vijay's fans considering the last time such a glimpse was released from the actor's film was back in 2014 for Kaththi. The next prospect is the Beast first single and the odds of that to happen are quite likely as well taking into account how the 'Kutty Story' song from his 2021 blockbuster Master was released in early 2020 on February 14 as Valentine's Day treat. There is also the chance that fans might be getting a new Beast poster, which would have to top the ones the team has so far unveiled bearing in mind the previous looks have been nothing short of sensational. The final possibility is that Sun Pictures could release a calendar plan for Beast similar to what had previously been done for Vijay's Mersal where the makers of the 2017 box office money-spinner announced the dates for the first look, audio launch, and the release date. 

With only a few more hours to go, the countdown has begun among 'Thalapathy' Vijay's fans for the Beast update they have been waiting for. Whether it will be any of the above remains to be seen and we expect the announcement in the day later today to once again receive spectacular feedback each of his films' updates has received over the years.
