'Thalapathy' Vijay's Beast is confirmed for a big-screen release and will open in theatres on April 14. Authentic sources are saying that the upcoming mass action film now has a scheduled date for its release and blockbuster production banner Sun Pictures are expected to make an announcement soon. Last year, Sun Pictures had announced that Vijay's Beast will be coming out in April, with the latest update now set to clear the doubts on its release date as there has been no word in regard to it till now. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and featuring music by 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander, an official statement from Sun Pictures is now being awaited on the Beast release date and can be expected to be made at any moment now.

Beast marks the first time Vijay and Nelson Dilipkumar are collaborating together and their association has generated a lot of excitement among fans. Up until now, the promotions have been minimal for the film apart from the first look posters and the release announcement poster that came toward the end of last year. Vijay, who created new records with his Master under Lokesh Kanagaraj last Pongal, will be looking to hit the bullseye once again with Beast and Sun Pictures too are expected to leave no stone unturned in promoting their latest big-budget venture. Nelson, who became a sensation after the staggering success of his second directorial Doctor starring Sivakarthikeyan, too has revealed that fans can expect a treat when Vijay's Beast arrives this April.

Promotions on Beast are expected to kick off soon in the days ahead and the film's post-production works are currently underway at a steady pace. The film is the second time Sun Pictures has bankrolled a Vijay venture after the 2018 box office blockbuster Sarkar, with fans expecting their collaboration to once again spell success. Beast has Vijay paired opposite national sensation Pooja Hegde and the film’s ensemble cast features names like ace filmmaker Selvaraghavan cast in a crucial role alongside Shine Tom Chacko, VTV Ganesh, Aparna Das, Redin Kingsley, Lilliput Faruqui, among others. A major USP of the film is composer Anirudh, who has churned out tunes for a Vijay film for the third time after delivering chart-busters in Kaththi and Master.
