'Thalapathy' Vijay's Beast released earlier this year took the biggest opening in Tamil cinema and was directed by Nelson Dilipkumar under the Sun Pictures banner. Featuring chart-topping music by Anirudh Ravichander, the mass action film also had an ensemble cast starting with national sensation Pooja Hegde playing the female lead, followed by Ankur Vikal, Shaji Chen, and Lilliput as the villains, while Selvaraghavan, VTV Ganesh, Yogi Babu, Aparna Das, Sathish Krishnan, Redin Kingsley, Sunil Reddy, Shiva Arvind, among others appearing in pivotal roles.

Beast saw Vijay playing the role of a RAW agent and saw him sharing screen space with the supporting cast inside a mall after it gets hijacked by terrorists. How the lot manage to rescue all those trapped inside the shopping complex, while also thwarting the dastardly plans of the terrorists formed the core plot of the film, which also included plenty of comedy sequences, with Vijay also a part of them. In that light, Shiva Aravind, who played the role of Killi in Beast, has now opened up on a shooting spot secret, while sharing a behind-the-scenes photo from the film.

Taking to Twitter, Shiva Aravind revealed that Vijay chose to stand behind him and actor Sunil Reddy in the picture after discussing with the photographer saying a hero doesn’t always have to stand in the front and expressed his gratitude to the superstar for his gesture. He wrote, "Vijay sir to photographer - Hero Na munadi dha nikunama ponga sir nan pinnadi nikuran, unforgettable opportunity @actorvijay sir ❤️ U #Thalapathy67𓃵 #memories". It is to be noted that the actor-writer played the role of Killi in Sivakarthikeyan's Doctor, which too was directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The Beast behind-the-scenes photo, which was unveiled before the theatrical release and later by Netflix, featured Vijay peeking from Sunil Reddy’s shoulder, who is standing behind Shiva Aravind, followed by Sathish Krishnan, VTV Ganesh, and finally Pooja Hegde. Although the film ended up receiving mixed reviews, it went on to become a massive blockbuster and set the cash registers ringing at the box office. Below is Shiva Aravind's tweet:
