Having also scaled new heights with events like Nakshathra Awards 2018, Galatta Debut Awards 2019, Galatta Nakshatra Awards 2019, Galatta Wonder Women Awards 2019, Galatta Indian Cinema Conclave 2022, and Galatta Digital Stars 2022, a new initiative was held recently in Mumbai, the Galatta Plus Mega Roundtable 2022, to bring together audiences from across the country and witness the biggest pan-Indian stars talk about Indian cinema and its future. 

The Galatta Plus Mega Roundtable 2022 was hosted by National Award-winning film critic Baradwaj Rangan, the Editor-in-Chief of Galatta Plus, and saw him discuss cinema with the biggest names in Indian entertainment among whom were filmmakers Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap, Hemanth M Rao, Nipun Dharmadhikari, and leading actors Karthi, Dulquer Salmaan, Varun Dhawan, Pooja Hegde, and Srinidhi Shetty. The Galatta Plus Roundtable saw them talk about the films that impressed them the most, while also sharing their views on the practices that didn't excite them in this past year. The stars also open up about their expectations and what they are looking forward to in the coming year. 

From talking through how each of their films was made, which includes the conceptualization, production, promotions, and various such factors that are hand in hand with any venture, we also get a glimpse into how each of the industries differs in terms of film-making, the approach to story-telling, and their overall vision. The Galatta Plus Mega Roundtable 2022 shows the fun side of all these pan-Indian stars and is an event that no doubt will cater to the taste buds of movie buffs and film aficionados among Indians around the world.
