Leading Telugu actor Sharwanand and his fiance Rakshitha Reddy, an IT employee, will be tying the knot on June 3 at the Leela Palace in Jaipur, Rajasthan. According to the actor’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), the wedding ceremony will be a two-day "royal" affair event, with the couple's mehendi function set to be held on June 2, followed by the Pelli Koduku (bridegroom) function to happen before their marriage, which will start at 11 p.m. It is being reported that invitations for the grand wedding ceremony have also been sent out after Sharwanand and Rakshitha got engaged back in January this year.

Sharwanand got engaged to Rakshita in a traditional ceremony in Hyderabad and exchanged rings in the presence of family members and close friends. Several notable celebrities from the Telugu film fraternity graced the occasion to wish the couple among whom included Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Amala Akkineni, Rana Daggubati, Nithiin, SS Karthikeya, Siddharth and Aditi Rao Hydari. The latest developments of Sharwanand and Rakshita's wedding plans in Jaipur have also put an end to the speculations that the couple had called off their engagement.
On the work front, Sharwanand's last big film was the science fiction bilingual, Oke Oka Jeevitham (Telugu) and Kanam (Tamil), which came out in 2022 and received largely positive feedback. The actor is currently working on a couple of promising projects starting with a film with Raashii Khanna under filmmaker Krishna Chaitanya's direction. Sharwanand, who is best known among Tamil cinema audiences for starring in the 2011 rom-com Engeyum Eppodhum alongside Jai, Anjali, and Ananya, is also joining hands with Telugu director Sriram Adittya for the tentatively titled Sharwa 35. On the other hand, Rakshita is a US-based techie and is the granddaughter of Telugu Desam Party politician Bojjala Gopala Krishna Reddy and daughter of High Court advocate Madhusudhan Reddy.
