There's no stopping the box office rampage of Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan around the world as the film has been now declared to have recorded the highest single-day collections ever with 68.72 crores in Hindi and the total coming in at 144.22 crores across all languages at the global box office. Produced by Gauri Khan and co-produced by Gaurav Verma, the mass action entertainer directed by blockbuster Tamil filmmaker Atlee has also been released in Tamil and Telugu languages, and the record numbers have once again proven the supremacy of 'King Khan' at the box office.

This is yet another big win for SRK's Jawan after it booked the biggest opening day in Hindi cinema history on its release date of September 7 with 129.6 crores and the audience turnout for the film in cinemas around India and several parts of the world are a testimony to the phenomenal response and the repeat audience. The Shah Rukh Khan-starrer is incidentally the second big outing for the 'Bollywood Baadshah' after his Pathaan earlier this year, which grossed over 1000 crores in global box office collections and there are huge expectations for those numbers to be surpassed this time around.
With Jawan coming out on day two at the box office with 240.47 crores, all sights will be on the third-day collections, which can be expected to be announced by the team later in the day. Shah Rukh Khan's latest powerhouse film has also marked the big Bollywood launch for several leading Tamil names among who include Atlee who has hit the bullseye with his direction and writing, followed by 'Lady Superstar' Nayanthara charming her way into the hearts of the masses, 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander bringing the roof down with his foot-tapping songs and thunderous background score, cinematographer GK Vishnu with his eccentric camera work, and editor Ruben with his stylish sleek cuts. Likewise, 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist played his menacing best according to many on social media, with Deepika Padukone delighting the fans during her limited screen time in her special appearance, while Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, and Sunil Grover made quite an impression with their respective roles.
