Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan has become the first Hindi film to get 6 a.m. shows and will be screened first at the iconic Gaiety Galaxy theatres in Mumbai's Bandra area. The news has been announced by the Shah Rukh Khan Universe Fan Club on X informing that they will be organizing the 6 a.m. shows at the prestigious 51-year-old theatre complex in the metropolitan city after they earlier this year screened the 9 a.m. shows for the Bollywood superstar's Pathaan back in January. The Shah Rukh Khan Universe Fan Club X account shared a poster featuring the 'Bollywood Baadshah' alongside 'Lady Superstar' Nayanthara and 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi and posted, "We created HISTORY as #Pathaan became the first film ever to have a 9AM show in 51 years of iconic #Gaiety theatre and we rewrite HISTORY with #Jawan as we organize its 6AM show at the Iconic #GaietyGalaxy! 🔥" (sic)

The buzz for Jawan has been huge right from the get-go and the expectations for the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer directed by Atlee are getting bigger by the day as the film nears its worldwide theatrical release on September 7. With the upcoming mass action thriller now announced to be the first Hindi film to be getting a 6 a.m. show for the first time, it also brings to light the trend, which has often been synonymous with releases in the South Indian states. With Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan earlier this year becoming the first Hindi film to be screened at 9 a.m. in Mumbai, and now Jawan following suit and set to come out much earlier at 6 a.m., it also indicates the positive response fo such screenings among the fans and how they have been open to watching their favorite superstar on the big screen at the crack of dawn.

Jawan is Shah Rukh Khan's second film of the year after Pathaan and will have its trailer launched at the Burj Khalifa on August 31. The film marks the big Bollywood debut for a significant number of Tamil cinema names starting with director Atlee, who delivered three back-to-back blockbusters with 'Thalapathy' Vijay - Theri (2016), Mersal (2017), and Bigil (2019). Likewise, Nayanthara is also getting launched as the female lead and there couldn't be a start any bigger than alongside SRK, with 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander too leaving fans impressed with his songs in the film, while cinematographer GK Vishnu and editor Ruben too have been receiving compliments for their work in the visuals unveiled so far. While Vijay Sethupathi is cast as the antagonist in Jawan, Deepika Padukone will be making a special guest appearance, with Priyamani, Sunil Grover, and Sanya Malhotra also set to be seen in crucial roles.
