It was until very recently that the teaser for Brahmastra dropped. And not even a fortnight later, the makers of Ayan Mukerji's magnum opus Brahmastra – Part One: Shiva has now released its highly anticipated trailer. The nearly 3 minutes long trailer is accompanied by Amitabh Bachchan's baritone voice, who lays down the story which gives us a peek into its plot. We also get a better look at all the characters and especially a very close look at Mouni Roy's malicious villainous character in the film. The eye-popping trailer is a cinematic spectacle and features terrific use of cutting-edge VFX and CGI effects which takes the front seat as it is present throughout.

Brahmastra features a star-studded ensemble cast including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Mouni Roy. The film marks the third collaboration between Ayan and close friend Ranbir Kapoor after having made Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. This is also the first time Alia and Ranbir are working with each other, who also tied the knot earlier this April.

BRAHMASTRA: PART ONE, is the story of SHIVA – a young man and our protagonist, who is on the brink of epic love, with a girl named Isha. But their world is turned upside down because Shiva learns that he has a mysterious connection to the Brahmastra and a great power within him that he does not understand just yet - the power of Fire. In this movie, we experience Shiva’s adventures as he journeys into the world of Astras and in turn, discovers his destiny as the divine hero of the universe.

BRAHMASTRA – the Trilogy, is a 3-part film franchise and the beginning of India’s first original universe The Astraverse. It is a new original cinematic universe inspired by deeply rooted concepts and tales from Indian history but set in the modern world, with epic storytelling of fantasy, adventure, good vs evil, love, and hope; all told using cutting-edge technology and never-seen-before visual spectacles.
