The trailer for the highly anticipated Malayalam film Vaashi just dropped and it is something out of the ordinary. The trailer builds up with lively moments shared between the two advocate characters with their relationship going strong. But then when they become part of a case where they are against each other, things start to get a little ugly between the two. It is evident that there is a certain turbulence in their relationship as both are planning ways to win the case. This seems to be the crux of the story but one cannot be too sure. So let us just wait and watch.
The upcoming courtroom drama is both written and directed by debutant Vishnu G. Raghav and stars Tovino Thomas and Keerthy Suresh in the lead as two advocates namely Ebin Mathew and Madhavi Mohan respectively. Joining them are Baiju Santhosh, and Rony David Raj among others in supporting roles. The film is produced by Keerthy's father G. Suresh Kumar, who also stars in the film, and co-produced by her mother and sister Menaka Suresh and Revathy respectively. The film's principal photography began on 17 November 2021 and filming was ultimately wrapped up on 19 January 2022. Vaashi is now finally all set to release theatrically later this week on 17 June 2022.
On the technical side of things, the soundtrack of Vaashi is composed by Kailas Menon while the BGM (background music) is composed by Yakson and Neha with lyrics written by Vinayak Sasikumar. The music rights of the film are owned by Think Music. The film has been made off a story by Janiz Chacko Simon, edited by Arju Benn. Urvasi Theatres stands as Vaashi's official distributors.
