Popular Tamil VJ and serial actress Akshayaa has tested positive for the Covid 19 virus and she took to her official Instagram page to share the information. Akshayaa, in her statement, mentioned that she has taken both the doses of vaccine and that has helped in reducing the severity of the infection. Akshayaa's Covid infection tells us that the pandemic is still on and we need to stay safe, following the safety guidelines.
Akshayaa's official statement read, "Hello Everyone, unfortunately, I've been tested positive for Covid - 19. I had slight breathing discomfort initially so took medical consultation and I'm in quarantine with all necessary precautions. I'm feeling better now. Though I've been vaccinated it didn't prevent but definitely, it reduced the severity of the virus. Covid is still there everywhere. Avoid going out unnecessarily and do wear your mask. Hope I'll be completely alright soon. Keep me in your prayers... Take care! Stay safe - Akshayaa".
Akshayaa is a popular Tamil VJ who is known for hosting several episodes of Sun TV's morning show, Vanakkam Tamizha. Akshayaa is currently hosting the popular weekend game show on Sun TV, Poova Thalaiya. She has also hosted programs on the Sun Music channel. Akshayaa is also an actor who is currently playing one of the leads in Sun TV's successful serial, Roja, starring Priyanka Nalkari and Sibbu Suryan in the lead roles. Akshayaa is seen playing the role of Priya in the serial. Akshayaa replaced actress Shamily Sukumar and the young talent has managed to earn a good fan base through her performance.
