Karthi's Sulthan is scheduled for its grand theatrical release on April 2 and we are just two days away from witnessing the film on the big screens. Sulthan is directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan who made his debut as a director in Tamil cinema with the Sivakarthikeyan starrer, Remo. Sulthan is produced by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu under the banner of Dream Warrior Pictures. The film has songs composed by Vivek - Mervin, and the popular musical duo have delivered a completely entertaining album. A few days before, the trailer of Sulthan was released and it opened to a very good response from the fans. The trailer gave us a glimpse of the film's main conflict and prepared us for an exciting action-packed ride.

One of the interesting aspects of the trailer was the background music which was composed by ace composer, Yuvan Shankar Raja. The fans were pleasantly taken aback when they happened to see Yuvan Shankar Raja being credited as the music director for the trailer cut. It created a huge buzz on social media. Later, it was speculated and said that the entire film's background music will be composed by Yuvan. There were several reports and speculations regarding the same, but there was no official confirmation regarding the same. Following a patient wait, the official word has now come through the film's director, Bakkiyaraj Kannan.

Earlier this afternoon (March 31), Bakkiyaraj Kannan took to his official Twitter page to thank Yuvan Shankar Raja for his work in Sulthan and added that the film got elevated to a different level with his score. Bakkiyaraj Kannan's tweet read, "All thanks to @thisisysr for making Sulthan a better movie for me. It felt epic with your magic.Your music is gng to be the crown of Sulthan.. can’t wait to experience it with the audience Sulthan". Along with the tweet, he also shared Yuvan's card that appears in the film and the picture has now gone viral among the fans.Yuvan Shankar Raja is a composer who is known for his power packed and iconic background scores in several mass action films in the past and let us hope that Sulthan gets added to that list.
