Ponniyin Selvan: 2 is one of the sensational releases of the year that was helmed by Mani Ratnam. The film is called the Magnum Opus of the Director as it is based on historical fiction books written by Kalki under the same name. Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan is one of the top-tier actors of India. He did a narration in Ponniyin Selvan: 1 and Ponniyin Selvan: 2. The narration was in the second part too and sets the tone for Ponniyin Selvan: 2 as it introduced the timeline in which the film travels and gives a small prelude of the events that happened in the first part. Kamal Haasan saw the flick recently with the music composer Devi Sri Prasad and director Mani Ratnam.
