Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan's son Aryan Khan launched his own clothing brand, D’YAVOL X, on Sunday. Social media has been abuzz with the news of the new clothing line over the last few weeks after the father-son duo appeared together in a teaser advertisement ahead of the launch. The first collections of D’YAVOL X were launched as a limited edition clothing line and is a luxury street-wear brand. Launched exclusively on the brand's website, an advertisement featuring Shah Rukh Khan and directed by Aryan Khan was released last week to a rousing response, with many expressing their excitement to purchase the new line of clothing.

Soon after the launch of the D’YAVOL X website, the requests for purchases shot up, leading to its crash and the brand putting up a statement that read, "We're experiencing very high volumes of traffic and checkouts. Please bear with us." The website went live once again and users continued their shopping. The attire featured in the D’YAVOL X collections included 30 jackets autographed by Shah Rukh Khan, which are priced at Rs. 2 lakh and got sold out within minutes. The clothing brand also has T-shirts and hoodies, which are priced at Rs. 25,000-Rs. 47,000. With the launch getting a huge response, Aryan Khan has posted a message on his Instagram Stories that read, "Thank you for the ride. We're all sold out. Stay tuned for the next one (sic)," with Shah Rukh Khan shortly after resharing the post.
The D’YAVOL X collections have spurred a huge debate on social media as fans have questioned the prices for the attire being sold, while have some users congratulated Aryan Khan for hitting the bullseye with his clothing brand. Some fans have asked for the rates to be reduced to being affordable for the middle class, while another section also expressed their concerns of those who are questioning the prices. On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is fresh off the mammoth success of Pathaan, which became the highest-grossing Hindi film in the history of cinema (original language) with Rs 1048.30 crores in collections, while also being released in Tamil and Telugu languages. The actor will next be seen in the highly-anticipated Jawan, scheduled to open in cinemas worldwide on June 2, and subsequently marks the Bollywood debut of Tamil filmmaker Atlee, actress Nayanthara and composer Anirudh Ravichander, with Vijay Sethupathi playing the antagonist. Shah Rukh will wrapping up 2023 with Dunki, his first-time collaboration with director Rajkumar Hirani and actress Taapsee Pannu, which is slated to hit screens on December 22.
