'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan's Vikram has entered the last leg of filming, with the actor-politician joining the sets once again on Wednesday, December 22, under Kaithi and Master fame Lokesh Kanagaraj's direction. Being produced by the four-time National Award-winning actor's Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI) banner in association with R. Mahendran, the Vikram team issued a shooting update via a press release informing that the production resumed on December 10. In the ongoing schedule, the combination scenes featuring Kamal Haasan, 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi, and leading Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil are being shot. Kamal Haasan is returning to the shooting of Vikram after making a full recovery from Covid-19.

"Kamal Haasan-starrer Vikram is in the final stages of production. The shooting of Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan's 232nd movie Vikram has been in full swing since December 10, 2021. Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan resumes shooting today (December 22). An ensemble star cast of South Indian stars like Fahadh Faasil, Vijay Sethupathi, Narain, Kalidas Jayaram are a part of this directorial from Lokesh Kanagaraj, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Vikram went into production in August and has completed many schedules. However, Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan has been on a break due to Covid. After a short break, the star is back to shoot from today with enthusiasm and vigor. As filming progresses at a feverish pace, the combined scenes of Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil are being shot in this schedule. The crew consists of Cinematographer and National award winner Girish Gangadharan, Editor Philornin Raj, Art director Satheesh, Choreographer Sandy, Director of Action Anbariv. Vikram is produced by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International in association with R. Mahendran." 

Apart from Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil, Vikram's star cast also includes Bigg Boss Tamil season 4 fame Shivani Narayanan, who will be making her Tamil cinema debut. Furthermore, popular VJ and television actress VJ Maheshwari will also be appearing in an important role alongside Myna Nandhini, who has garnered a huge fan following after starring in the hit Vijay TV serial Saravanan Meenatchi. Vikram has also cast Paava Kadhaigal fame Kalidas Jayaram and actor Narain, who incidentally is reuniting with Lokesh Kanagaraj after the two collaborated in Kaithi.
