Leading actress Kajal Aggarwal has joined the sets of 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 being directed by blockbuster director Shankar. The upcoming magnum opus is currently being filmed in Chennai and the actress has shared a picture of herself from her make-up room showing her getting ready for the shoot on Monday evening, February 27. In the photo posted on her Twitter handle, Kajal is seen hiding her face using a heart emoji leaving us guessing her look and also the scope of her role in Indian 2.

Apart from the picture, the caption of the tweet has grabbed the attention of many fans as Kajal has confirmed that there's a treat for fans from Indian 2 in the days ahead. Posting the photo with the hashtag "#COMINGSOON", fans now believe the actress' look in the film will finally be unveiled soon considering she is playing a big role alongside Kamal Haasan. Production on Indian 2 is being carried out in full swing, day and night, and there has been a strong buzz for some time that the film will be coming out in theatres later this year. Jointly being produced by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies banners, Indian 2 is the sequel to the 1996 blockbuster Indian and was first officially announced in 2019. There is tremendous excitement among fans as to how the story will pick up after the events of Indian and how the team is going to bridge the more than two decade gap since the original had released. Indian 2 will also see Kamal Haasan and Kajal Aggarwal being joined by several notable names like Priya Bhavani Shankar, Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, Bobby Simha, veteran actors Delhi Ganesh, Gulshan Grover, and former cricketer Yograj Singh (Yuvraj Singh's father) among others in key roles. Anirudh Ravichander, who delivered chart-buster songs and a thunderous background score in Kamal Haasan's Vikram, is once again expected to come out all guns blazing and his inclusion in the film is no doubt a big USP.
