Blockbuster Tamil filmmaker Shankar is back on the sets of 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan's magnum opus, Indian 2, he announced the big news on Thursday evening, February 16, on social media. He took to Twitter to share a photo from the upcoming film's shooting spot with acclaimed art director T. Muthuraj, too visible on the grand sets. Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 is Shankar and Muthuraj's fourth-time collaborating with each other after they previously worked in box-office money-spinners like 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Nanban (2012), 'Chiyaan' Vikram's I (2015), and the 'Superstar' Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar-starrer 2.0 (2018).
The ongoing schedule for Indian 2 is said to be taking place at the Adityaram Studios in Chennai, where the team will reportedly be filming for the next 30 days. This schedule is quite a long one for the Kamal Haasan-starrer and Shankar's latest picture from the sets will no doubt come as a massive delight for fans, who are waiting with bated breath for the first visuals from the upcoming grand venture. Jointly being produced by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies banners, Indian 2 has been carrying sky-high excitement right from the moment of its announcement in 2019, with fans mighty curious to see how the team is going to bridge the more than two decade gap with the 1996 blockbuster, Indian.
