Thalapathy Vijay is currently busy shooting for his next film, Varisu which is helmed by Vamshi Paidipally of Thozha and Maharshi fame. The shooting of the film is progressing at a brisk pace in Hyderabad and the talkie portions are currently being shot featuring the main cast. Vijay is expected to be showcased in a refreshing makeover in Varisu and the fans are eagerly looking forward to witnessing the film. The film features Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead marking her second outing in Tamil cinema after Karthi's Sulthan and it is going to be exciting to witness the refreshingly new pair onscreen.

R Sarath Kumar plays a pivotal character in the film that also has Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Khushbu Sundar, Yogi Babu, Shaam, Sangitha Krish, Srikanth, Samyuktha Shanmuganathan, in the star cast. That being said, one more actor has now officially confirmed his presence in the film and the update has delighted the fans. Yes! Ganesh Venkatram of Abhiyum Naanum and Unnaipol Oruvan fame has been roped in to play a crucial role in the film and he shared the good news with the fans through his latest Instagram post.

Ganesh will be remembered for his participation in the first season of Bigg Boss Tamil in which he left a solid impact. Ever since the news came out on social media, the fans have been requesting the talented actor for updates regarding the Vijay starrer. Reacting to their requests, Ganesh made it clear that all the actors have signed an agreement and they would have to abide by the guidelines until the release of the film.
