Director Shankar is currently busy with the works of his next film, the highly anticipated RC 15 which stars Ram Charan in the lead role. Following the humongous worldwide success of RRR, Ram Charan will next be seen in Shankar's directorial and the fans have pinned high hopes on this mega biggie. This yet to be titled film will be produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations and this is the esteemed production house's 50th landmark film. Earlier this morning (July 24), the makers issued an official statement, creating awareness for the aspiring actors.

It looks like there have been unverified casting call reports doing rounds on social media and the makers made it clear that all of them are completely fake, adding that no agency or person has been given the right to do the casting for the film. The official statement from Sri Venkateswara Creations read, "To whomsoever, it may concern. The approaches being made to people on social media and various upcoming artists about casting them for #RC15 #SVC50 are completely fake. No person or agency has been authorised to cast people for any role in our project. We request everyone to be informed and cautious about the same".

RC 15 has music composed by S Thaman who recently bagged the National Film Award for Best Music Director - Songs for his exceptional work in Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. The star composer would be looking forward to continuing the momentum with RC 15 as well. The film features Kiara Advani as the female lead, while Jayaram, Anjali, Sunil, and Naveen Chandra play supporting roles.

Apart from RC 15, Sri Venkateswara Creations is also producing Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming family drama, Varisu, directed by Vamshi Paidipally. Varisu, featuring Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead is slated for release during the festive occasion of Pongal 2023.
