The 60th Idea Filmfare Awards 2012 (South), which was held in Hyderabad on Saturday evening, was a glitzzy, breath-taking event. Glamour, divas, style and fashion extravaganza made the black lady a memorable one.

For Tamil cinema category, Dhanush walked away with two black lady, one for the best actor in 3 and another for the best singer. Samantha grabbed the best actress award for her performance in Neethaane En Ponvasantham while Vazhakku Enn 18/9 won the best movie award, for which Balaji Sakthivel was adjudged the best director. D Imman walked away with the best music director for his amazing scores in Kumki.

A.R Rahman presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to celebrated singer Vani Jairam.

Shruti Haasan, Amala Paul, Anjali, Isha Talwar, Navya Nair, Sharmila Mandre and Shwetha Srivatsav  enthralled the audience with their high-voltage dance moves. Kumki's Thambi Ramaiah and Neerparavai's Saranya Ponvannan was adjudged as the best supporting actors.
