Director Rathna Kumar who made an impressive debut in Tamil cinema with Meyaadha Maan and later delivered a bold yet experimental film in the form of Aadai has officially announced his next project. As widely speculated and believed, Rathna Kumar's next directorial venture stars Santhanam in the lead role and it looks to be an exciting collaboration. Santhosh Narayanan will be composing music for this film which is bankrolled by S Raj Narayanan under the banner of Circle Box Entertainment. Earlier today (March 15), Rathna Kumar took to his official Twitter page to make the announcement on the project and he sounded completely excited about the film.

The motion poster of this untitled flick will be released tomorrow (March 16) evening at 6 PM and that will reveal to us the title of the film, as well. Interestingly, the motion poster will be unveiled by five prominent directors of Tamil cinema - Gautham Vasudev Menon, Venkat Prabhu, Karthik Subbaraj, Nelson Dilipkumar, and Lokesh Kanagaraj. Expressing his happiness about it, director Rathna Kumar tweeted, "Joining hands with @iamsanthanam na & @Music_Santhosh sir for my next Directorial ☺️. The shooting of this film has already been completed and the post production works are happening in full swing, gearing up for its release very soon. More details regarding this film are awaited. After Meyaadha Maan and Aadai, Rathna Kumar worked in Thalapathy Vijay's Master, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Rathna contributed to the movie as a dialogue writer and his work was appreciated by a lot of people. Rathna has also worked on Lokesh's upcoming directorial, Vikram, starring Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil in the lead roles.
