It is a common practice in India to idolize their favourite actors on a whole new level. They would rather stare at their pictures, watch their videos, films and whatnot. We often see such people taking extreme steps to express their love and admiration for their beloved actor/actress. These people, AKA 'fans', go as far as getting their face or name tattooed on them, to standing outside their houses in order to get their attention, etc. At the same time, there are also some fans who take extremely disastrous and tragic steps for their stars.

With that being said, a die hard fan of Prabhas recently went to another extreme and took his own life. A 24 year old named Ravi Teja took the extreme step after reading negative reviews about the film. Other reports suggest that he was left heartbroken and disappointed after watching the film and therefore hung himself to the ceiling fan upon returning home since the film did not live up to his expectations. It is also added that Ravi Teja had expressed his displeasure about the film's response to his mother. The police are currently looking into this matter for further investigation and more details are awaited.
